Labor Day weekend is come and gone and it was a great one! Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate the end of summer but we’re not ready to slow down yet. 2010 Ride for Wishes

A two-day cycling event that will feature riding distances for all levels of cyclists. Plenty of rest stops, great fellowship, and the white sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast are all reasons to make this year’s ride a trip for the entire family. 39th Annual Shrimp Festival

Savor fresh gulf seafood during this four-day event that attracts over 300,000 people. Peruse the wares of 300-plus vendors showcasing their fine arts and crafts and kick back to continuous tunes from the two music stages that will feature national recording artists as well as local favorites. 8th Annual Thunder on the Gulf

Orange Beach
Come experience the excitement of the Offshore Powerboat Association’s World Championships. Explore the Dry Pits at the Gulf State Park pavilion on the beach. Observe monster race boats and their teams, purchase official race merchandise, and be a part of the festivities and entertainment with a spectacular view of the coast. The “Thunder” will take place starting Thursday with two days of racing. Visit Cobalt and watch the cranes “splash” the race boats in the Wet Pits at Caribe.
